Stem Entertainment was founded by filmmaker, Will Freeman in 2012. Stem Entertainment represents the backbone; the support in providing a platform for talented emerging and existing artists. Stem Entertainment provides services in the areas of the performing arts: such as film, music and entertainment. The company has produced two short films, "Who's to Judge & "Creditors", thus far.
About the Filmmaker
Will M. Freeman is an innovative and driven American independent writer and emerging filmmaker whose storytelling transcends boundaries. With an unwavering commitment to creating narratives that challenge, engage, and inspire, Will has become a force in the entertainment world. His creative voice is fearless, endlessly evolving, and always pushing the limits of what’s possible in film and television.
Hailing from the vibrant and challenging inner cities of Newark and East Orange, New Jersey, Will channeled his early life experiences into a passion for storytelling. He began his journey through writing poetry and short stories, developing a unique perspective that would later fuel his cinematic vision.
In 2004, Will attended Clark Atlanta University (CAU), where he studied under the mentorship of Dr. Herbert Eichelberger—an influential figure who helped shape the careers of acclaimed filmmakers, including Oscar winner Spike Lee. During his time at CAU, Will not only wrote and directed a series of commercials and short films but also showcased his versatility by directing live news breaks for the school’s news station. It was here that Will’s talent for both behind-the-scenes leadership and creative direction began to flourish.
Still in college, Will took a major step forward by directing and producing a reality show pilot for multi-platinum R&B group Jagged Edge, giving him early exposure to the demands and intricacies of large-scale production.
With over 15 years of experience in the film and television industry, Will has worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment. His writing and creative contributions have spanned high-profile projects with Apple Television, Paramount, HBO, Marvel, DreamWorks, Sony, Columbia Pictures, and USA Network, among others. His work on multimillion-dollar studio productions reflects his expertise and ability to navigate the complexities of major studio filmmaking.
